I’m an Arizona Valley girl at heart, born with a passion for magazines and the creative word. For as long as I can remember I’ve had subscriptions to magazines. To me, these glossy books were as sweet as the candy lining the checkout lines. Every Saturday neared with the same anticipation as the last, because going to the grocery store meant a new magazine (Seventeen typically) and a pack of Bubblicious. Since then, not a lot has changed. Okay, perhaps I am more partial to Cosmopolitan these days and I buy my own gum now. Although my preference for the lifestyle sector remains the same.
